PR- Faculty of Pharmacy USU – Every September 25 is celebrated as “World Pharmacist Day/WPD”. FIP (International Pharmaceutical Federation), as the main organization of world pharmacists in WPD 2022, raises the theme and issue of "Pharmacy united in action for a healthier world".

The theme raised can show how the pharmacist’s role is united in an action to realize sustainable development goals (SDG's), namely good health and wellbeing.

One of the agenda as an implementation of the pharmacist role was community service. This service activity was carried out at Cadika Park, Johor. The agenda was carried out by providing Communication, Information, and Education (KIE) to the community regarding TB and Diabetes. Counseling about tuberculosis and diabetes consists of the characteristics, causes, prevention, and treatment of these two diseases. The KIE was delivered to Johor residents and visitors to Cadika Park by Pharmacists Professional Education Study Program students from the Faculty of Pharmacy USU's batch XXXIV. Hopefully, the community service will provide an informative education for the people around Cadika Park, Johor. Read more
